HOW DOES THE PLASMA PEN WORK?
Our trained technicians use the Plasma Pen device to deliver a tiny plasma flash. This flash creates a small dot on the skin's surface without the device touching the skin. Applied in a grid across the treatment area, these small dots create a controlled micro-trauma to the top layers of the skin while gently heating the deeper layers. This process, also known as fibroblasting, stimulates the cells that produce collagen.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?
Results vary from person to person, as each client's skin and treatment goals are different. Factors include your age, your skin's elasticity, how your skin responds to treatment, and the size of the area being treated. Improvements generally develop gradually over the following weeks to months as new collagen forms. Your technician will recommend a treatment plan following your consultation.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS AND RISKS?
As with any cosmetic procedure, there are potential risks and side effects, which will be discussed during your consultation. Most clients experience minor side effects in the 5 to 7 days following treatment, such as tiny carbon crusts (similar to small dots) around the treated area, which will naturally lift and fall off. When treating the eye area, swelling is common for a few days. Following your technician's aftercare instructions is important to help avoid complications such as hyperpigmentation.
